On August
31, the exhibition “Dinosaurs Who Walked in Zhejiang” was inaugurated at the
Darwin Museum. Thanks to photographs provided by the Zhejiang Natural History
Museum, the exhibition shows what fossils and traces of ancient life have been
discovered in China, what unexpected places and how excavations were carried
out, how fossils are preserved and what can be learned from studying them.
In his video message, the director of the Zhejiang Natural History Museum, Yan Hongming, welcomed visitors to the exhibition and thanked the Darwin Museum, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between our museums to popularize the culture, science and art of China and Russia.
Present at the opening were:
Minister-Counselor for Culture of the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation and Director of the Chinese Cultural Center, Mr. Feng Litao;
Representative
of the Zhejiang Museum in the Russian Federation, popularizer of culture and
art from the YiMi company - Victoria Pudovkina;

Director for Research Work Tatyana Sergeevna Kubasova.
The curator
of the exhibition is Selezneva Alexandra Andreevna.
The
exhibition will last until October 29.
